How to reset windows 7/8 password at log on?

How to solve this?

Lost your window 7/8 or any windows password. Don't have enough money to buy premium softwares.

Don't worry,use this method to easily unlock your password.You just need only OS which is made

bootable in a pendrive or a OS cd.

Steps:

1. Shut down your system and change the boot settings to boots from pendrive or CD (This is

generally done by pressing F10 or F2 at startup or any other function keys(this is shown at startup),now

go to BIOS setup and select "primary boot option" to pendrive or CD depending on the medium you

select) .

2. After your OS loads select “Repair your computer” option from the lower left-hand corner(instead of

install OS button)..

3. Now select command prompt out of the list given and type the following commands.

4. First you’ll want to type in the following command to backup the original sticky keys file:

copy c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe c:\

Then you’ll copy the command prompt executable (cmd.exe) over top of the sticky keys executable:

copy c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe

5. Restart your PC.

Once you get to the login screen, hit the Shift key 5 times, and you’ll see an administrator mode

command prompt.

6. Now to reset the password,just type the following command, replace the username and password

with the details you want:

net user geek MyNewPassword

That’s all your password is reset.....

7. Of course, you’ll probably want to put the original sethc.exe file back, which you can do by rebooting

into the installation CD, opening the command prompt, and copying the c:\sethc.exe file back to

c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe
